Fonty McFontface

Drop a bunch of fonts onto this page, or select them using the form below, to generate the corresponding @font-face CSS declaration with correct descriptors — convenient when the fonts don’t already come with a stylesheet. Refresh the page to start over.

Processing happens entirely in your browser using the lib-font library. Fonts in otf, ttf, woff, and woff2 format all work. View the page source if you’re curious about the code (it’s very short).

Note: as a quick proof of concept, Fonty only works for static fonts at the moment, but support for variable fonts is coming at some point. We’ll also probably want to merge the different formats of a font into a single @font-face declaration. To dig further into the data and features in your fonts, head over to Wakamai Fondue.
